Louvre notching tools
The louvre notching tools are punching and notching tools for the punching stations in Geka’s two-cylinder hydraulic ironworkers in the Hydracrop Series or the punching machines in the Puma Series. With our louvre notching tools you can convert flat bars into louvres.
To convert a flat bar into a louvre you need to perform two operations: cutting and stuffing. With Geka’s louvre notching tool, both operations, cutting and stuffing are made simultaneously with one single punching movement. You can cut the flat bar before or after the operation in the flat bars shearing station of your machine.
Our standard louvre notching equipment can obtain louvres with dimensions of 4″×35″/64″×9/32″ (width, depth and height).
Our wide range of punches and dies also allows you to punch several standard shapes: round, square, rectangular, oblong or to even make your own shape and size with our custom punches and dies tailor-made solutions. If you wish to acquire custom punches, please contact our technical service. All of them can be adjusted to the standard machine easily and quickly.
If you have any question about this notching tool or if you need technical or sales advice of any type, please contact our Geka experts to help you with this equipment.
